[since you asked..]

I have had some emails asking how to leave comments on this blog.  For those who are unfamiliar/ new to blog world and/ or new to typepad, here is your free tutorial! 

At the bottom of each entry I write in gray you will see the date and time of when the entry was posted.  Next to it you will see the word "Comments" and in parenthesis a number ...which on this blog usually reads (0).... hehe!  If you hover your mouse arrow over the word "Comments" a hand should appear indicating you can click on it...when you do a new window will appear that will allow you to leave a comment.  Inside this window you can write in your name, your email (this step is required but this WILL NOT appear with your comment so don't worry about giving that information out), and a URL (this is optional but if you have a blog or a website you want to link back your comment to you can add it there).  After typing in that information you can write your comment in the comment box provided and then click "Post".  You comment will then be published to the blog for both our family plus other blog visitors to view. 

Now that you know know to leave a comment how about we all PRACTICE!!  I KNOW there are several lurkers on this site that remain silent and I would love to get a "hi and hello" just to know my readers.

Welcome to the Streger family blog!  Soon, here you will find all you ever wanted to know and more...well about us anyway. 

In the coming days (or weeks--depending on how stubborn she is) we will be celebrating the birth of our first born, our daughter Mirabelle Ani.  First lets practice saying her name shall we...  it's pronounced Mere-ah-bell or Mira (like the Spanish word for "look") + bell.  Her middle name is pronounced Ah-knee (not Annie...despite my love for that musical).  Now put it together and its Mirabelle Ani!! 

The purpose in creating this blog was so that we could inform all interested parties in visiting guidelines and procedures for both hospital and home.  Parking and navigating the medical center can be a hairy experience so we want to make it as easy as possible for everyone.  In addition to this type of information, we would like to be able to share photos of our precious gift from God as well as report regularly as she grows so don't tune out after her birth!!

So, go ahead and bookmark this page, blog-lines me, or do whatever it is that you do to remember to visit a page!  Have fun "flipping" through our photo albums and take a peak around at some of the other highlighted websites and blogs linked from this page.
